Food & Drink

With the recipes passed down from generation to generation, there is a sense of togetherness and a feeling of belonging. The savory spices make Ghanaian food something you don’t want to miss! The food is how locals express love and happiness, and a means to bring people together. It is for the soul and the stomach. Join us to experience Ghana's Jollof rice, Waakye, Banku and Tilapia, Red-red, Fufu and goat light soup, Kelewele, Kenkey, and fried fish. We also will experience various drinks like Sobolo, Burkina, Ice Kenkey, and Solom Drink.

Local Experience

Ghana has earned its place in the sun and is known as West Africa’s golden child. It is also the second safest country in Africa. With its growing economy, real estate and entrepreneurial community, locals embrace innovation and inclusion steadily. English is widely spoken throughout Ghana. We will explore the local community at every available opportunity to get the whole experience. Many of the locations are accessible through various forms of transportation— including motorcycles.

Adventures

Ghana is a destination that is packed with surprises and has something for every type of traveler. We will explore off-the-beaten-path, natural landscapes, beaches, botanical gardens, hiking, waterfalls, and trails of the transatlantic trade. Bring your walking shoes; we have a lot to see!

Cultural Immersion

With Tribal Travel Club, you are going to have the full experience. From exploring the marketplace to authentic lunches and ceremonies, we will dive into a variety of local pastimes such as traditional clothing, jewelry, skin care products like shea butter and more. We embrace the various ethnic groups in Ghana. We will also enjoy an authentic Ghanaian meal on the beach accompanied by a bonfire and cultural drumming and dancing. The diaspora and the culturally explorative are wholeheartedly welcome here.

Night Life

Feel free to dress to impress for a night of dancing and partying at Ghana’s best nightclubs, but also be ready for a variety of evening experiences ranging from all white parties, garden gatherings, ringing in the New Year at the hottest party and more. We will enjoy diversity in dance, beats, refreshments, food and conversation.
